Windows 10 - Windows Photo Viewer -Make a Copy is Greyed Out

Right click on the photo you opened in Windows Photo Viewer.  Click on "Properties".  Open the "General Tab".  At the bottom of the dialogue box, under Attributes,  uncheck the "Read Only" box.   Hit "OK" and you should now be able to "Rotate" and/or  "Save a Copy".

  1. This DOES NOT work when files are on a network drive. Files are NOT checked read only and still the copy options are greyed out
